Local charity launches new Book & DVD Loan Club
Assist Teignbridge are launching a new Book & DVD Loan Club that gives members of the charity (both individuals and organisations) the opportunity to borrow books and DVDs for no charge from the vast selection that have been donated.
Members of Assist Teignbridge support the charity to meet its aims and objectives. Membership now will also give you access to the Assist Book and DVD loan club.
Not currently an Individual Member of the charity? Then you will need to complete the membership with us and arrange payment of the £5 annual subscription.
For Residential Homes and Sheltered Housing sites that want to make use of the book and
DVD loan club:
- A selection of books and DVDs will be delivered by us to the residential home/sheltered housing site for the residents to use.
- We will swap them for a new selection every 2-3 months throughout the year.
- A list of the books and DVDs will be provided with each selection.
Is your organisation not currently a member of Assist Teignbridge? Then please complete the membership form (link above) for a nominated individual and arrange payment of the £10 annual subscription.
We will then contact you to arrange a suitable date/time to drop off your first selection of books and DVDs.

Our service is here to support the following groups of people in Teignbridge:
Older People, Adults with Dementia, Adults with Mental Health Problems, Adults with Sensory Disabilities, Adults with Physical Difficulties, Adults with Learning Difficulties and Carers of any of the above.
Assist Teignbridge received the King's Award for Voluntary Service.
